Digital rendering allows you to see your home painted before we paint
Repainting the exterior of your home is not a project to be taken lightly, especially here in Arizona. A new exterior paint job can either make-or-break the appearance of your home and its curb appeal. That’s why digital rendering is included with our Professional Color Consultant service. This not only gives you a chance to see what your house will look like when the project is complete, but it also gives you a chance to try out different colors digitally, without having to paint your actual home several different colors.
What exactly is a digital rendering?
A digital rendering is a digital image of your home that can be modified and edited with different color paint options, so you can see exactly what your home will look like after we complete our work. When we provide you with a digital rendering, you receive a digital mapping of the front of your home that will give you a very good idea of how it will look when the color you choose has been applied.
This is basically looking at a photo of your house, and being able to swap colors in real-time to see the best fit for your home, your yard, and your vision. These renderings provided by Crash of Rhinos will help you make an informed decision without blindly choosing how your home’s exterior is going to look. This also helps you pick the best color for your home before we actually touch brush to paint.
What is the purpose of getting a digital rendering?
Deciding on a final color for the exterior of your home can be the most difficult part of the entire exterior home painting process. Digital renderings allow you to have an actual photo of your home, with the new colors you are deciding between. This makes it easier to confidently choose the most appealing color combinations for your home. There is a huge difference in seeing the new colors on a stock photo of a random house, versus seeing it on your actual home, in your yard, next to your real neighbors.
How does this process work?
We offer the services of our Professional Color Consultant. They will work with you to decide on visually pleasing color schemes for your home’s exterior. If you live in a neighborhood with a Homeowners Association, They’ll even contact them for pre-approved colors. Some HOAs have very strict rules in place as far as what colors you can and cannot use, and we take the hassle out of this step by contacting them directly.
Next, we map your home. Using just a photo of the exterior of your home, your Professional Color Consultant will map the front with very specific details to produce the most-accurate, computer-generated digital rendering.
Once the digital rendering is produced, you and your Professional Color Consultant will use the previously discussed color schemes and apply them to the rendering for you both to review. This is the step where you will be able to make hands-on decisions and decide what color your new exterior will be.
Lastly, you and your Professional Color Consultant will test all of the color options until you are 100% satisfied with the new color for your home’s exterior. The digital rendering will make this part so easy, because you will be able to see your actual house with the colors you have chosen. For this step, we do recommend also taking into consideration that the computer renderings can look slightly different than they will in person.
Our solution to this is to further assist you with providing paint samples and testing color swatches on different areas of your home. Things like sunlight, tree shade, and landscape can make the colors look different once actually on your home. We like to mention this last step because colors can vary with any paint job.
